Retail Export Manager French Market (sleep sector)

About Us:

The company is a leading brand in the sleep sector, specializing in stylish and innovative products for home décor, furniture, and accessories. We are expanding our presence in international markets and are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Retail Export Manager to lead our efforts in the French market.

Job Overview:

The Retail Export Manager will be responsible for driving the export sales of our home sector products across France. This person will be based in Barcelona. The role involves managing key retail partnerships, expanding distribution channels, and implementing effective strategies to increase market share in the French market. This position requires to be native  French and fluent English, a strong understanding of the retail landscape in France, and experience in export management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Expansion & Strategy:
    Develop and implement strategic plans to grow the companys presence in the French market, identifying new retail opportunities, and expanding the brands reach.
  • Retail Partnerships & Account Management:
    Build and maintain strong relationships with key retail clients, distributors, and partners in France. Ensure effective communication, product availability, and timely deliveries.
  • Sales & Revenue Growth:
    Achieve sales targets and KPIs by driving retail sales in France, managing pricing strategies, and ensuring product visibility in key retail outlets.
  • Product Launches & Promotions:
    Coordinate product launches, promotional campaigns, and seasonal activations tailored to the French market. Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to ensure successful execution.
  • Market Analysis & Competitor Insights:
    Monitor market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activity in the French home sector. Provide actionable insights to improve product offerings and sales strategies.
  • Logistics & Supply Chain Management:
    Ensure seamless logistics and product supply chain management for export to France. Collaborate with the logistics team to handle orders, shipping, customs, and compliance requirements

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education:
    Bachelors degree in Business, International Trade, Marketing, or a related field. A Masters degree is a plus.
  • Experience:
    Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in export management, retail management, or sales within the home sector, preferably with experience working with the French retail market.
  • Language Skills:
    Fluent in both French and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills in both languages. Spanish as a plus.
  • Market Knowledge:
    Strong understanding of the French home décor and retail market, including key players, consumer preferences, and distribution channels.
